Everyone is welcome, the garden is child friendly just in the woodland playground, kids (fort, zip line, assault course and swing) are welcome to play but common sense is needed if the child is the right age and the adult is never to far if there is a accident. Your child is YOUR responsibility at all times. The food is lovely and home cooked, the view that may be more appealing to adults has hills beautiful trees and flowers. Each year there are some differences in the garden if it a new path or feature to make it possible to be surprised every year! People may walking some want to buy plants and some like to bounce on trampoline and have fun 😜 everybody is welcome! The cottages are buitiful there are some at the lake with a old fashioned feel and there are 2 at the garden,(details about them at website or if you look up caerau) one is for a small family and one for up to 2 People with a steam room to relax and a heated floor this one is the pig sty and there is a EXCLUSIVE seating area outside with the view of North Wales. When you stay at the lovely cottages the aim is to make it look like nobody had ever been in the place is emaculet and everything like bins and beds are done to 7 🌟 hotel standard, the USP is the garden and amazing view at you door step is a feeling that a 7 star hotel is missing. The dogs that live here are really energetic and make some noise when a new face arrives kids may be scared that is not rare but the dogs genuinely have no intress in human meet and expecially human food the dogs are on a diet PLEASE DONT feed the dogs. I am not a customer but I am around the gardens alot because of family, this is my honest review when my grandparents (Toby and Stephanie) find out I did a review it will be new news that I did it. This is a point of view of a 13 year old. Sorry about spelling...

What a find! A great place to spend a couple of hours , especially with children and well worth the entrance fee. The garden, set in breathtaking surroundings, is mostly informally planted within a formal structure of garden rooms. This makes it fun to explore for gardeners and children alike. The relaxed planting encourages wildlife spotting too. At the top of the garden is one of the most inspired play areas we have ever come across! The children ( 7 & 10 ) loved working out how to access the fort by raising the portcullis and then operating the drawbridge. The zip wire and ‘ball’ swing were also big hits. Oh there is also a sunken trampoline at the bottom of the garden. For adults, the garden contains interesting plants some of which can be purchased in the well-stocked and well-priced nursery. Stephanie and Toby are very friendly, welcoming and helpful - especially if you leave anything behind after your visit… They are also a mine of information about the plants. Last, but definitely not least, we must mention the cafe! Some of the yummiest cakes we have tasted for ages. Excellent coffee too and all in lovely surroundings. We didn’t have a meal but they are available and all home-made. Outdoor and covered seating available. I think the owners like you to book your meal beforehand, if you are planning to eat. There is also an interesting and well stocked shop where the children thoroughly enjoyed browsing and then spending their holiday money. All in all, a great find and well worth the entrance fee in...

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Tyn Llyn for my birthday and I could not fault a single thing about our visit. Firstly, Toby is an absolute gentleman and the nicest, most friendly host you could ever meet. He lead us to Tyn Llyn which is so remote it's glorious. All you can hear is the sound of sheep and the birds; apart from the one or two ramblers that passed the cottage over the course of the 3 days, there really are no signs of human life to be seen here and that is exactly what we were after. We took the boat out on the lake on our first night which was amazing; so peaceful. The sauna is the most incredible touch nd one I've not experienced before in a holiday rental. The log burner fires in the sauna and the living room work really well and make the cottage feel really cosy. The bed is THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We would have liked to have been able to see the gardens and had a coffee but we just didn't get the chance but we will 100% be back in the future. Could not...

This lovely Caerau Garden is easy to find and absolutely worth a visit! There's a free car park, and while entry to the garden has a fee, you can check the prices on one of the pictures available. The walk around the garden takes about 10 minutes, but you can easily spend the whole day here if you wish. With plenty of benches to sit and admire the beautiful views of North Wales, it's a peaceful place to relax. There’s even a playground for kids (just remember to supervise them). After your walk, the café is a perfect stop for a delicious coffee and a burger that’s truly to die for! The owners are incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting with family or going solo, this garden is a great spot to unwind, take some nice photos, and enjoy nature. Just be careful if it’s wet—it can get a little slippery. Highly recommended for a relaxing day out!

This is a lovely, family run business. The path meanders seemingly aimlessly through the gardens but takes you to hidden places, some with magnificent views over the surrounding hills and mountains. There is a great section on the hillside for kids of all ages to go and play. After taking in the garden there is a good cafe where you can refuel on tea/coffee and CAKES. Your hosts, Stephanie and Toby, run the place between them and share the catering jobs - Stephanie making the most delicious cakes and Toby is in the kitchen where he produces lovely snacks of the hot and cold variety. Check out their onsite accommodation - The Hovel and The Pigsty, great if you want somewhere central to explore the bountiful riches Wales has to offer.

This was my second visit in just two days. On the first day we used a family ticket to explore the gardens, and relax in the cafe - it was worth every penny. I then returned with my 97-year-old mum, and the staff treated her like royalty. And there, amidst blossoms and shade, my granddaughter became the garden's little caretaker, gathering watering cans one by one, nourishing petals with joy and purpose- her laughter sprinkling life across the stems. The food is all home made, with their sandwiches crafted using their own delicious, freshly baked bread. I was able to park right outside to drop mum off before parking the car.
