We visited this farm during a rainy stay. We saw the sign from the main road and I briefly looked at the reviews and thought we would give it a whirl. I can honestly say it was one of the best farm ideas I have ever seen. It was perfect for a rainy day (wrap up with puddle suits and wellies and no rain was stopping us), the animals were really accessible to stroke and feed, we basically had the place to ourselves due to the weather and the girl working was there so lovely, she went out her way to chat to us and was brilliant with our little boy. She got the rabbits out and allowed my little boy to stroke them. The tractor ride was so nice and unique and something we have never done before. The guy was so lovely and welcoming and he played kids music which was such a lovely touch and we got such a close view of the animals and a very exciting ride. Then as if that wasn't enough they had the most ginormous play barn which my son just adored with all the inflatables and the younger section with blocks and houses etc. Then we were even more pleasantly surprised by the sand pits both indoors and out and lots more outdoor play facilities such as go carts, golf, diggers, tractors and a play area. We only spent the afternoon there but easily could have spent the day as we saw pedlos on the pond and other things such as a nature trail and rodeo we didn't get round to. The carvery looked amazing, although sadly we missed it as were having too much fun playing and the shop was great with reasonably priced gifts.

Honestly we had one of the best afternoons we ever had and I feel good to have supported a local family run business. I feel sad for them with people saying it's tired and run down...I don't know what people expect from a farm setting. It's a family who have had a fantastic idea and going well above and beyond to provide a fantastic play day for kids covering every possible entity. It's a shame we were only on holiday otherwise I would be there every week and don't think I'd ever tire. Thank you we...

Good value but some of the attractions were a bit questionable. We came on a dull day but was dry, and the children enjoyed the outdoor pursuits - tractor and trailer ride - short and sweet for farmer to feed the animals, nice and bumpy. Our son loved the electric 50p ride on motorbikes - good value for money, good old fashioned machines. (Not for adults- motor is not powerful enough!disappointingly for mum and dad! :) ). Go Karts - was amusing, but repetitive - but son enjoyed it... Indoor play area - was a bit poorly lit, but was big enough to amuse both 4 year old and 11month old - catered for both. Better lighting required. There was an indoor sand area too with toys - but we did not partake. There was an outdoor pedal go-kart/bike/car area - but half the bikes did not work - meant disappointing some children - making it seem better than it was. Similar with the tractors - some of the pedals did not function. We went on the pedal boats - amusing for a bit until we were tired out. Good value for money. We went when it was sunday carvery day - so unless you wanted that, there was nothing else on offer. You would have to have a packed lunch...

We had a great day out although it was raining and cold outside. Animals are kept under the roof in the barn house. The gentleman staff were super friendly and nice. They came to you to check if you are okay. At the end of day when we went back to the barn to say goodbye and see the animals. A gentleman offered to take rabbits out because my daughter was trying to pet them outside the cage. The young ladies in the reception and cafe area were very friendly as well. The indoor soft play/bouncy castle was great for young children to spend time while it was cold outside. It would be good to keep the old kids/teenagers out of the area. The tractor activity was great, the sheep was running bedside the tractor as they know there will be treat for them. And then the kids song playing during the time was lovely. We didn’t go to the outside play area but looks nice for children to have fun. In the website it says welcome to bring your own food in the cafe or play barn . That’s a lovely gesture to offer the option while most of the places won’t do. All in all, not just a couple of hours definitely a good day...

We absolutely love it here. We went yesterday 21st August 2018 and we have been visiting for the last five years. My son first came here when he was 1 and last year we brought our daughter with us for the first time when she was 6 months. They both love it. Lainey adores animals, slides and sand so she's in her element. My son loves all the play options and this year he finally tackled his fear of the inflatable noise in the barn so both children were able to enjoy the bouncy slides. I can't recommend this place higher for people. If we lived closer we'd be there every other week but every time we're at the caravan we make sure we visit. It's excellent value for money and there's enough to make a whole day of it. The food is also really good and one of these years we will try the carvery too. TgeyThe obviously great employers too as we've been seeing the same faces in all the time we've been visiting. It was nice to see some younger faces joining the team this year too. I'm sure they too will be around for years to come x

Been twice now once in summer and once to hide from typically Welsh bank Holliday weather. Even today in the rain there was enough to keep 3 adults and 2 children under 4 occupied for 4 odd hours. The petting barn is always fab - goats, sheep, alpaca, donkeys, ponies, cows, dogs to wrangle them all and today 3 does with piglets that were free ranging everywhere. Also keep an eye out for the occasional pet rabbit and silkie chickens. All of the animals appeared well tended and comfortable in the company of humans. There is also dried food on sale to feed them for visitors. Bottle feeding lambs one a couple of times a day. There is a soft play/ jungle gym area and picnic sites as well as a cafe and small shop. A rodeo bull, outdoor obstacle course, peddle goats, mini go'karts are only practice in good weather. A pretty amusing day out and cheap for what it is!
