Adjoining fields managed by the redoubtable London Wildlife Trust. Tucked away, partly hidden accessed by kissing gates and forming a segment of the London Loop/Dollis Valley Greenwalk. The uncultivated historic hayfields meadows, hedgerows and veteran perimeter trees are spread over a level surface with a distinct footpath. Blissfully peaceful habitat to a variety of flora and fauna, some relatively scarce. Pleasant but not overwhelmingly so.

Photos from December and January. Although more flowers are around in the summer, it’s still a peaceful place to visit. I just wish there was more - ie, plants, animals, facilities. It’s an area that becomes very boring when you’re on your own. It’s very muddy when it’s cold too so picnics are best in warm weather

I visited Totteridge Fields Nature Reserve in August 2022 when walking the London Loop route around London. It had lovely peaceful areas to explore.
