This is tucked away and not one of the normal tourist destinations. There is a small carpark. There are several paths to the top so choose one to suit. I would think that it is not accessible by wheel chair due to the paths which vary between uneven to difficult. At the top, on a clear day, you will be rewarded by great views, including both Cornish coasts. This is an ancient site, used thousands of years ago. So clamber up, enjoy the views and pause for thought. There are no facilities available so...

Had to wait 2 hours to check into St ives Holiday Village so decided to kill some time. Found this place on my Google maps and decided to go for it with a family of 5. Free parking and car park was empty. We walked up to the top of the hill which took only 10 minutes, we were so rewarded with the 360° view beautiful scenery with golden beaches. Kids loved it and played hide and seek behind rocks. Watch out for the horse poo !! My only problem was that I didn't bring my...

Fabulous views of St Ives Bay from Hayle to Godrevy, and of Mounts Bay Marazion and St. Michael's Mount are well worth the climb.

The huge boulders that litter Tencrom are said to be the remains of battles between Cormoran (The giant of St Michael's Mount) and another giant on Trencrom Hill, who continuously threw boulders at one another, I would always tell this story when walking my young family up the hill, which seemed to take their minds off the...

Cornwall doesn't have much in the way of high points, so this rare "summit" is all the more precious. With wonderful views of both coasts, and plenty of rocks to scramble on, it's well worth the walk. I did the climb up with my then 7-month pregnant wife and 3-year-old and they were absolutely fine, so don't worry about needing to be particularly fit - it's very approachable. Just take it easy! There are lots of other lovely paths that loop around the hill as well.

So lovely. I'm tempted to say negative things to put the tourists off, but I just couldn't! You can see everything up there... Autumn/winter the track is very muddy, so recommend appropriate footwear. Also lots of brambles. If you are taking littles it's quite a walk for small legs, but totally worth it. I saw people cycling but I personally think they are mad, but hey, that isn't my thing. We have visited twice, and both times was very windy, I kind of like that.
