Located behind the maze at Leeds Castle is the Birds of Prey Centre. The centre contains a number of birds of prey from across the world and some cross breeds. In addition, there are displays of the birds in flight at certain times of the day, as well as the chance to interact with the birds organised by the keepers.
Close by is a wildlife garden which creates a natural habitat for bird, small mammals, reptiles and insects. Also located in the same area is play area for children, an adventure golf course, a place to eat and recently added beach for children to play in and adults relax in deck chairs whilst overlooking the lake.
There is also a place for visitors to stay overnight at the Knights Glamping camp site which is also close by.

Hannah, Mark and the volunteers made the experience fun for all the visitors and especially the younger ones.
I wholeheartedly recommend the bird of prey experiences. In my opinion, the owl experience is appropriate for children of 10 and over if they are sensible, and respectful of the birds, and prepared to follow the falconers’ instructions.
Thanks to Hannah, Mark and the team. We will definitely...
