We spent a lovely afternoon walking from here on what started out to be a bit of a grey day. The scenery and wildlife more than made up for the initial grizzly weather. There's a sizeable National Trust carpark above the ferry harbour area with a tarmac lane leading down to the shoreline and past the public toilets. An inquisitive seal swam in the harbour as we arrived on the pebbled beach. It stayed there for quite some time, not bothered by us being close by. Walking paths from here lead off in all directions where you can head two miles North East to Musselwick Beach or the same distance South East to Marloes Sands. We headed West through the gate and up to the promontory and Coastwatch lookout station at the highest point. Astounding views all along this short walk, with nearby Skomer and Midland Isle in the foreground and to the South is Skokholm. To shelter from the wind we sat just below the Coastwatch station overlooking Skomer and the tidal races smashing through Jack Sound. Plenty of birds to look out for, but sadly no Puffins on view for us that day. Make sure to take binoculars if you have them.

Best birthday trip evaaaaa! Went to see the puffins- loved it and can't recommend it enough. Boat trips around this area are also lovely. Pembrokeshire is the greatest place :)

Nice walk. Amazing views. Great day. Horses on the field are coming close and wanting to be friends, my son was so happy.

Clean, well cared after and with facilities. Came here for a dive and I was expecting a rough place in middle of nowhere. I was glad to find shelter, places to sit, toilets, and other amenities. People do respect the reserve laws and you can find lots of incredible...
