Zig Zag Hill — Attraction in Melbury Abbas

I didnt find it interesting or as some other reviews alude to it being challenging, its simply not. Just zig zag a few times through some trees. Went down and up on a motorcycle, busy road, buses and vans forced to cut the corners making it either slow or dangerous. Decent view at the top but the view is not related to the zig zag road, whilst on the road the view is restricted by trees. I wouldnt travel here...

Short but entertaining series of switchbacks that makes for an entertaining drive or ride. Heading uphill the view quickly opens out, and there's a small layby not far along the B3081 where you can stop and survey the scenery. Judging by some of the negative reviews and the fact I had no problem ascending the hill in a 1l city car, I can only suggest some people consider...

All was good going uphill in my i800 until, like me today, you come head on, face to face with an articulated lorry coming down hill on one of the dodgy bendy bits! Not for the faint hearted, I can tell you! 20 minutes later, with some heated discussions and some reversing teamwork, a crisis was avoided but the queues it created. .....phew! Note to self: avoid this...
