Four Ashes Golf Centre — Attraction in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

We had been to Four Ashes Golf Centre before and played mini golf. We were going to return and do the same but were absolutely thrilled to discover their new 'Adventure Golf' course. This circuit is crazy golf that has been intelligently designed, beautifully landscaped and gives eighteen holes and so you feel you have definitely had your money's worth. Colourful water features provide the calming sounds of running water to make it more relaxing when you go round, as well as looking really good. Staff are really friendly and helpful and there is bar food available so there is something to eat once you have had your game. I recently visited the pro shop at Four Ashes Golf Centre and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience due to the conduct of the manager. From the moment I entered, the manager was noticeably dismissive and unwelcoming. I had a few basic questions about equipment and services, and each was met with curt, impatient responses that made me feel like I was a burden rather than a customer.

At one point, the manager even raised their voice when I asked for clarification about pricing. There was no attempt to be helpful or polite — just an overwhelming sense of rudeness and condescension. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, especially in a place that relies on regular clientele and good service. Avoid!

I spent nearly £2k on clubs with a custom fit and never got on with them. I took them to Precision Golf for an independent club assessment and it transpires that none of the clubs matched the length or lie specifications that were recommended and ordered from Four Ashes. Worse still, the clubs were ALL different. No wonder I couldn't hit them.

I had struggled for 2 years and Four Ashes response was to reference the warranty (totally irrelevant) and refused to assist.
