Me and my partner went to the Old Hall today and really enjoyed our visit. Because we tend to work weekends, it can sometimes be difficult to visit the Old Hall, but thankfully, with the midweek open days, it's been made possible. It's a shame more people don't know about this little gem, we found it fascinating stepping into different time periods and seeing how the Hall was used during the centuries. The gent at reception was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, and just made the whole experience that more enjoyable. We hear that there may be a Christmas event at the Old Hall, which sounds wonderful, to see how it would have been dressed throughout the different time periods would be fascinating.....just please make it available during week days!

This was a surprise. We didn't know it was there. We were on our way out of tatton hall When we saw the sign. It was interesting to see what it was like back then. The guy on reception was very informative. There is a lot of garden games to play, both adults and children. We would go again, but this time bring the grandchildren.

The hall was amazing. It had different parts from different eras based on when the extension were added.

Visited yesterday with my wife & came across the Old Hall for the first time. A must visit the office manager was a mine of information so helpful wished we'd had more time to chat. School Party & visitors absolutely loved it. So interesting beautiful location set amongst lovely parkland, lakes & woodland with the main hall a mile away. Lots of wildlife, Birds, Deer, Badgers, Foxes. Even resident ghosts & organised ghost hunts. So much history the hall & its interior are fascinating so much to see so peaceful. Not forgetting the 60,000 paratroopers & SOEs that trained there for Arnhem & covert ops even converted Wellington Bombers based there. There is so much to interest you. Not forgetting the lovely lady on the Main Gate Knutsford end so helpful. This is a must visit with the lovely town of Knutsford next door do not fail to visit if you are...
