I love Lligwy beach and has maybe become my favourite beach. Lovely sandy beach, especially at low tide and the dog just loves running on the hard packed sand and paddling too. A great teepee that serves drinks and also has the occasional band playing gives the atmosphere a very 'cool' feel to it. Toilets are available and parking is plentiful despite having to pay (ÂŁ3 per day)

The only downside, and the reason it doesn't get the full five stars is that there's only one road in and out of the beach. This road always has parked cars down one side (so that they don't have to pay) and consequently the road becomes very narrow with pedestrians, cars and dogs all trying to use it at the same time.

Still, it won't stop me from going whenever...

Great car park only a very short walk away that has public toilets and a cafe. The beach is dog friendly all year round and it's lovely and sandy with a rocky part nearer the top end. The car park is not expensive so it was a great pity to see people parking on the roadside down to the car park as this made it really difficult to get down the road as it's a narrow road anyway. They could really do with stopping people doing that so it's not as much of a squeeze especially for those in camper vans. Overall the beach is great and a lovely day out for dog lovers as well as families. Would...

Lligwy beach is one of my favorites, it has amplee room for parking at a reasonable price and has a small cafe/gift shop and toilet facilities, so is ideal for family days out. The golden sands are a must for children eager to build sand castles, and the flat beach is ideal for games of rounders, volleyball and other activities. The sea is ideal for toddlers paddling under supervision of course.. There are coastal walks from each of the two car parks, and also it is Dog friendly, but don't forget to take Pooh bags and water for your pooch.....

If you are looking for a family walk, look no further. Park at the beach car park where this is a cafe and toilets ( currently ids free to park July 2020) and as you look at the beach, walk down the car park and pick up the coastal path. This will take you along 3 amazing quiet beaches. All dog friendly and you’ll get some amazing views. It’s about 3 miles along some wooden bridges, low cliffs and sandy paths. Great for kids and lots of rock pools to explore. The path drops on to each beach so you don’t miss out.

Gorgeous beach that turns 100x even nicer at low tide due to the sand bars! Dog friendly and deliciously sandy!

This beach is just beautiful! The car park is very close to the beach, so you don't have to walk too far. This beach has breath taking scenery, places to walk and discover along the beach or up on the hill trail area which takes you to other parts of the beach and you can see what the place looks like from above (I highly recommend it as your pictures will be absolutely stunning). The toilets were also clean and not too far of a walk to get to! We would definitely be back again to visit!
