My first time visiting Lepe Beach. Managed to get a carparking space in the main carpark directly on the beach front. In busier times it operates on a one car out one car in basis. I cannot recommend here enough. It is absolutely beautiful. From the carpark The left part of the long beach is for humans and happy dogs and the right side is only for humans. The beach is a mix of pebbles and sand with uninterrupted views of the isle of white. I went on a boiling hot Sunday and it really wasn't that busy. It was perfect. There is not much signage to tell you how you get out of the carpark tho so you'll need to know that you don't get a physical carpark ticket on entry as it seems to be number plate recognition, you park up then go enjoy yourselves. When leaving the pay machine is located to the right of the cafe building (Make sure to take a note of your number plate if you don't know it offhand) machine takes cash and card. You simply pay per hour for the time you've spent there and that's it. You are able to leave and the barrier automatically opens for you. Parking charges are pretty expensive but if you are only there for a few hours it is well worth it so if you are looking for somewhere to go for a walk or to let the kids burn...

Lovely country park with access to the beach. Dog friendly area, with parts of the beach allocated for dog walkers. Parking is £2.50 for an hour (in peak season), £2.00 an hour (off peak), enter your car reg into the parking machine & pay the tariff at the end of your visit, (no tickets) & the barrier opens to allow you to exit. Cafe was open for takeaway service, but couldn't find a bin near the cafe for our rubbish. Visited again New Year's Day (2022) & still no rubbish bins outside of the cafe. Nice play area for smaller children. Good place for walking, paddling & picnics. This park is open 7 days a week, the website states that opening hours are from 7am to 7pm. Have visited again twice this year, still no bins in the picnic area near the cafe, there are 2 bins up the steps by the cafe entrance, not handy if you have small children or dogs. Please can there be another bin put in at the bottom of the stairs by...

It's a great park, we rented a barbecue and when we got there it was amazing. There are a couple of barbecue places there but ours was like a small private garden. It had wooden fencing all around, in the middle there was a big and long table with benches either side of it, a couple of trees around and a bigger tree having its branches falling just above the table (like in a fairytale), the barbecue was inside this area next to the table and it came with a metal brush. Next to this barbecue place was a big field where kids were playing football and were flying kites. Next to the park are a lot of footpaths that lead to the beach and to the sea. We had lots of fun and the only regret we had was that we didn't take the barbecue for the whole day, we only booked the second slot which started in the afternoon. It's an amazing place and we'll definitely...

This delightful spot offers a pleasant escape for a few hours. The playground was a hit with the children, who eagerly explored the various climbing structures and swings. I can't recommend the coffee shop highly enough; their sausage roll was a true standout – flaky pastry, savory filling, and perfectly warm. Parking is conveniently available at £2 per hour, and while there are electric car charging facilities for two vehicles, unfortunately, they were out of order during our visit. On the downside, the beach could use some TLC to enhance its appeal. It’s not particularly child-friendly, which might detract from the experience for families. Additionally, the wild garden had a rather neglected feel to it, possibly due to the season. The walk to it didn't quite justify the less-than-stellar scenery, which left me feeling that it wasn't worth the trek.

Lepe Country Park combines sheltered green area on an elevated level with mostly stoney beach, both with very scenic views. A newly built dining area has been built along with new toilet facilities which are all wheelchair accessible with a ramped pathway going from top to bottom. I was very surprised to find out that in all my 47 years of visiting this place, a cold war bunker existed in the bank we all once ran up and down (before the new building and ramps were created). It's parameter area is shown with a fence and has a periscope that is free to use to view the bunker below your very feet with information links as you view around. It's a shame this is not accessible for a wheelchair user but nonetheless, it's a gem for history buffs and for anyone local who's been coming here for years who had no knowledge of this bunkers existence.
