Last time we visited it took so long to receive our food that I was hesitant to go again but we thought let's give it another go as the food was nice. I wish we hadn't bothered. First my husband had to ask an unmasked cyclist to keep his distance inside and then after a long wait sitting in the heat as no umbrellas, they brought him a meat hotdog after ordering a vegetarian one. This was not discovered until he had eaten a bite. When I queried it they said they would bring another one. This took a while although not as long as the first time. I was given a half hearted apology from the lady who brought it. After my husband had eaten the veggie sausage which was quite a bit smaller than the meat version we got up to leave. The lady then came out with some welsh cakes as we were on our way to our car which she said was to apologise. We did not take them. To be honest if the apology was more sincere and the food quicker I wouldn't have...

Absolutely gorgeous place with stunning walks and always so quiet been their a couple of times now and definitely recommend but we did encounter some on the loose huge bulls with massive horns one Tuesday afternoon and they were blocking the path and were collosal and scary. So we decided to go a different route and it was fine but they were on the main path with no one around and not controlled in any way, which could've resulted in a big Danger if their was a dog or young children. I definitely think this was just a one of and maybe the were farmers moving the livestock to another field but just thought I...

We caught the weather just right, the first full day of spring in glorious sunshine. Unfortunately so had others - it seemed we were just four step behind either an incontinent dog or an incompetent owner, as the paths were liberally strewn with dogs eggs. We followed the "Fox" path as I'm going grey and my partner is ginger - very sad to say for much of the walk two teens tore up and down the paths on motocross bikes, which may account for the incontinent dogs. Either way, the smell of two stroke wafted on the breeze. Apart from that the cafe was delicious and I'd reconend...

So pleased this popular Parc Slip establishment is open again & for considerably more regular & longer hours. For us it was a welcome stop on the nearby cycle routes which reach Parc Slip nature reserve from Bridgend & beyond. Four legged friends are welcome in the conservatory area adjacent to the outdoor seating. On this occasion we opted for the reasonably priced ferrero roche cookie Cake & toasted tea cake to compliment are cups of tea. Delicious & highly recommended.

Lovely place , great cafe and adequate parking , actual walk was lovely, yet pond at beginning well that was the only disappointment , met some lovely people , great age range of other customers says it all . Quite few hides yet few closed off for various reasons . Nicely tarmac paths , needs bit of a tidy up in the actual trees lake etc , lots of seats with views blocked out though . Yet will return was lovely .
