Great for dog walks and the dogs can have a swim in the smaller pool! It has a flat path most of the way around, which makes it an easy walk for prams and wheelchair users, also very popular with cyclists. The walk through the woods can get very muddy and quite uneven in places. From Acres Nook car park the walk is quieter, walking past fields and woods and usually there are less people about From that end. From the Boathouse road car park there are more people and especially children around and there is a great little play area with swings. Plenty of benches, pic nic tables, dog poo bins and litter bins, a shame not everyone uses them. No toilet facilities. Occasionally an ice cream van parks up in the car park off...

Live locally, it's my local park. There's lots to do here with outdoor exercise equipment that leads up to the lake. A lovely big lake to walk around as well. The park is steeped in history as the Black Panther visited here in 1975, as well as two historic railway tunnels, the Harecastle Railway Tunnels, located close to the car park at the northern end. Please note that if you head down the steps to look at the tunnels that the maintenance steps were put in place when the tunnels were built and haven't been maintained. They are slightly dangerous. But the rest of the park is pretty safe, popular with residents, walkers...

Lovely place to walk. Cyclists are very polite when they are coming behind you and ring their bell to let you know they are there. There are numerous dog walkers and joggers. It is very pleasant to walk around the lake. There is adequate seating if you want to rest. You pass people fishing and people walking by and the majority of people acknowledge you. There are various wildlife on the Lake which is nice to see. The railway runs down the side as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to walk etc to visit. The park is also very well maintained which is a bonus so well done to the people who...

Bathpool Park is one of Stoke on Trent’s hidden treasures. Its natural beauty is definitely worth a visit. It’s unspoiled with no amenities ie toilets, shops, ice cream vans etc, just pure nature. There is a free car park at the entrance with limited spaces but it doesn’t get over busy. Dogs are welcome. There is a short walk to get to the pool area, all accessible by wheelchair via a paved path. The tour around the pool is scenic, with the odd fisherman, other tourists and plenty of wildlife to view. Bring a picnic and enjoy nature at its best. As I say, it’s well worth a visit.

Fantastic park to stroll around as most of the paths are tarmac surfaced. Fairly easy wheelchair access from all park entry points. Unfortunately there are no public conveniences nor is there a refreshments booth. The park is well maintained and dog walkers are encouraged to keep their pets on a leash. There are doggy bins too! Plenty of benches and picnic tables are situated throughout the park. A Ski club operates the dry ski slope within the park. Trains trundle past on the adjacent railway. Quite often anglers may be spotted sporting for a catch out of the pool.
