Such an enjoyable experience walking with Alpacas! I had an amazing afternoon last Saturday (31st July 2021) in Cranfield Alpacas in which I had booked to do a beach tour waking with Alpacas, and it lasted just over 2 hours. Pamela and Peter were amazing hosts from start to finish and were so pleasant and welcoming to their customers. After a short brief introduction explaining about how they became Alpacas owners. They then done some Q&A about alpacas and a briefing how to best behave around them. We were then all then introduced and paired with our very own Alpacas for the evening. In particular a big shout out to my alpaca host Humphrey! He was just a delight to handle. Pamela and Peter were very safety conscious for both the customers & the animals ensuring to direct and keep them out the way of local traffic. After a pleasant stroll along the country roads we then got to walk along the local beach. This was a lovely beach as it was scenic but also mostly quiet. Pamela then offered to take photos for everyone along the beach and made sure everyone was able to capture a special moment and was having an enjoyable time. Once back, we then all got to feed and interact with all the Alpacas before our session concluded. They also had a fresh bottle for waiting for everyone after our walk which was really refreshing and a nice touch. There was also nice facilities on site like very well maintained toilets before or after the session. There was also a gift shop for anyone wanted to pick up an alpaca momento for the day. In conclusion to say it was just a magical experience would be an understatement. Honestly was just such a relaxing & enjoyable experience and I will definitely assure I be coming back in the future to take part again and to see all Alpacas including Humphry. Thanks again to Pamela & Peter for the a fantastic experience and look forward to seeing you again in the future. Gary

Myself, my elderly mum and my SEN son had the most amazing time yesterday at Cranfield Alpacas. We booked the meet, greet and feed Alpacas experience and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Pamela and Ian were both very informative, funny, friendly, approachable and they ensured we made the most of our experience with the Alpacas. We were given information on the Alpacas, most of it I did not know eg an Alpaca has 2 stomachs and can die of loneliness if they are alone and not in a herd of Alpacas. They are such friendly animals with very soft fur. One of the Alpacas named Albert seemed to latch onto my son, followed him about, very friendly and even posed for photos. Thank you so much Pamela and Ian we all had a really memorable time. Your Alpacas are such beautiful boys πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™πŸ¦™

Had an amazing afternoon last Saturday (24th July) with the Alpacas (Humphrey in particular) walking him in the glorious sunshine. Pamela and Peter were the perfect hosts for the afternoon and after a short briefing about how they became a home for Alpacas, and some Q&A, it was soon hands on and walking these amazing animals along the roads and nearby beach. Extremely safety conscious, ensuring to keep out of the way of local traffic, ensuring the animals and their customers well-being at all times. Once back, managed to feed the Alpacas before we left. Great hosts, great experience that lasted well over 2 hours and fabulous weather (how Pamela and Peter arranged that is beyond me πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ). Thanks both - David and Vicky Hamilton.

Having journeyed to Ireland and made it a point to visit Cranfield Alpacas three times, I can confidently say that each experience has been uniquely delightful, ensuring that I'm far from bored and eagerly anticipating future visits. Pamela, her husband, and her brother embody exceptional hospitality, easily deserving a five-star rating for their warmth and attentiveness.

The dedication they pour into making the alpaca walk a memorable, fun, and special occasion is truly remarkable. From the moment you arrive, you're treated like a cherished friend, and even with my infrequent trips to Ireland, Pamela has always remembered me, a testament to her exceptional care and personal touch. We've always been greeted with offers of drinks and biscuits, including comforting hot chocolate during the cooler months, while Pamela shares fascinating insights about the area and her beloved alpacas.

Each alpaca is absolutely adorable , irresistibly fluffy and very funny. Pamela has always kindly allowed me to walk with my favorite, Pablo, making each visit even more special. I wholeheartedly recommend Cranfield Alpacas to everyone, regardless of age, and I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. This time, I brought my fiancΓ© along, and he absolutely loved it, further cementing Cranfield Alpacas as a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a heartwarming and unforgettable experience.

At the end of your walk, you get the chance to hand-feed the alpacas. Trust me, feeling their gentle nuzzles as they take food from your hand is an experience you won't soon forget! To top it all off, you're treated to even more refreshments and snacks. And before you head off, be sure to check out the gift shop, where you'll find the cutest items, all personalized with the alpacas' names and pictures. Honestly, this place has a special kind of magic, and it's definitely my number one favorite spot in all of Ireland. It's just one of those places that stays with...

Today my friend and I brought our 9 and 11 year old children for a beach trekk with the Alpacas! It was wonderful 😊. The weather was woeful but we came prepared and did not let it dampen our spirits. Pamela and Peter were lovely and very accommodating. We had Wilber and his sidekick. They were very sweet and gentle and happily plodded along in the rain. Great outdoor experience that I would highly recommend. Hopefully we will be back again soon. C

Update: I arranged a one to one visit for my elderly mum to go meet the Alpacas! She loved it! We were able to drive right up to the field gate and mum able to walk with her stick to a bench. Pamela took her time to explain all about the Alpacas to my mum and we fed them! Wow was this a different experience than before when there were lots of people feeding. The boys were all over and Albert blowing the remains of food in his mouth over our heads, when telling his friends to back off the food was his!! This was so funny and entertained us no end! I would recommend a personal visit like this if you have an elderly or disabled person. Pamela was so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back to see the Alpaca family with more members of our family. Many thanks Pamela....
