Almost don't want to share this beach as it is so fantastic. It's huge when the tide's out, and cosy when it's in.
Lovely clear water, clean sand and easy waves make it perfect for youngsters. As do great rockpools and some enormous caves towards the Broadhaven end of the bay. They are worthy of exploring (but only at lower tides).
It's never crowded, which is almost unbelievable considering how wondrous it is. However, there is no dedicated car park, just some 'layby' parking which isn't really parking at all. The walk down from the road is quite steep too, so once on the beach, I'd not plan on moving.
Also, no facilities on the beach at all i.e. no toilets, lifeguards, ice creams or anything.
