Wonderful place to visit.. Lots of lil walks and the main pathway walks too..so much nature.. Picnic benches at various points. Some walks where dogs have to be kept on a lead therefore making some people feel more at rest/ease. ( occasions where some dogs are off lead may want to say hello to you ) many people I see here are friendly. Public toilets always open when I visit.. Hand sanitizer at the doorways. Plenty of parking with the choice to purchase a seasonal /annual ticket if you wish to online, meaning you can park anytime in a different area for these ticket holders only. I haven't had a time yet where I couldn't get in the main 2 car parks though and the pricing is fair, ( was free during lockdown ) in good weather there is usually a Frederick ice cream van too. 😋🍦 Definitely worth the visit more than a few times.. 👍👌

Really good place to forget about the bustle of life. Parking starts at £1 for 2 hours and there are 3 car parks and special disabled slots right down the track in the woods. There are his, hers and disabled toilets at the ranger station too. Three reservoirs covering about 2 miles both off and over water. With various walks throughout the area in fields, woods and on bridleways. There are tons of dog walkers here, so be considerate if you have a large dog. There are occasional activity groups here and lots of tree carvings in the woodland walks. Great place to visit.

Linacre reservoirs is a lovely, pretty venue and ideal for families with children and dogs. The walking is easy and paths are all clear to see. There are beautiful Woodlands and the water adds to the appeal of this place. The only drawback that we found was some of the paths are very stoney and there are steps to negotiate which was impossible for my Mum on her mobility scooter. However there is disabled parking which was helpful and the ice cream van was a much appreciated bonus. I am also aware that you can find pokemon which is great for the kids on their mobile devices.

An absolutely beautiful place to visit all year round. I've been to Linacre hundreds of times, but each time the beautiful scenery and walk never fails to amaze me. The place looks beautiful in both snow and summer sun. Paths take you around and in between the three reservoirs and are lined with plenty of benches, perfect for a picnic or just for taking a break. The walk takes you through beautiful forest trees, past tranquil fields and across the wooden walkways over the reservoir. There's plenty of wildlife and nature to see. It is perfect for dogs. There's a public toilet that is extremely clean and well maintained. Parking is relatively cheap and you usually won't struggle to find a space. Another bonus is that it's so close to Chesterfield, but you still experience the...
