Rolling hills, fields and woods surround this wonderful park. A really lovely place for a walk during the spring and summer, especially if you have a dog. My only fault is the lack of Dog Bins and the other dog walkers who let their dogs free roam without care for any nervous puppies or older dogs nearby. I think a sign should be put up stating to put your dogs on a lead if you see another approaching. Twice my dog has been attacked rather badly by another dog here because the owners do not care (my dog is always on a lead around other animals and is now terrified of...

Situated on the outskirts of Stevenage, the Great Ashby District Park is great for walks, leading out into the Hertfordshire Countryside. The Park itself looks a little bare and is still becoming established.

It is a shame that there appears to be some dog owners who think that it is ok that collecting their dogs mess in a black plastic bag then throwing the bag in the hedge.

The surrounding woodland to the park also make for great walks and these come alive in late spring with the thousands...

Coming from inner city London, my sons (6 & 8) and I loved walking through the woods and taking in the views. With all the technology available to children now it's quite something to see them enjoy the simple pleasures and they're looking forward to building dens with their friends when they're a little older. They enjoyed the children's play area with unusual play equipment. Also very handy to be able to park the car. A must for walking...

Beautiful, large greenery. At first we thought we were in the wrong place, as to get there you go through a little quiet bunch of houses, but then all of a sudden this gem appears. Very impressed. Could use a toilet and or a cafe. But we were there for 2 hours with the dog. Had a mix of different trails, flat, forest, hills. Had a few exercise spots and play areas.

This was a beautiful and clean park with lovely grounds though I'm not sure the car park is large enough to accommodate the numbers. Also the one lane leading to the car park can be a nightmare when there is no space to park and you're trying to get out of there while several cars are trying to get in. I was sat there for 10 minutes trying to get a space/get out.

It's beautiful this time of the year with the Blue Bells. This park has a lot of swings for the children, plenty of space with grass and pic-nic tables. The car park isn't big, but I think normally it won't be full because today it was a sunny day and it wasn't crowded.
