Wow what an absolute stunning hidden gem! I visited on a Friday Morning around 9am with my dog. It was very easy to find, the car park had plenty of parking. Parking is free for National Trust Members and for non-members it is £6.50 for the whole day, the machines accept card and coin payment. There are toilets a short walk away from the car park which have an open accessible entrance and disabled, women, baby changing and men’s. There is also a cafe and a second hand bookshop, the cafe has a courtyard and a dog hydration station with water for pups, I didn’t try out the cafe as I was unsure if dogs were allowed inside to allow me to order, this could be made clearer on signage. All routes start and end at the same place making it ideal for people like myself who prefer circular walks. There are 3 routes varying in length. On this occasion, we took the Blue route. This route was on a solid path for the majority of the way with some hills. After walking past the loose cattle, the route continues on grass, up a very steep hill and up some steep steps. There are two benches at the top of the steps to take a breath afterwards! The route itself showcased some absolutely incredible views of the sea and surrounding fields. It was very easy to follow with small blue arrows showing you which way to go frequently so we never lost our way. Also there are a number of benches throughout the route so you can take in some of the views. I will definetely be returning and look forward to plenty more walkies here with my dog!

Note- there are no poo bins/general waste bins on the blue route apart from at the...

17th June 2023. My family and I visited Sandringham Park for the first time whilst staying in Cromer. We are members of the National Trust and we really enjoyed walking in the grounds with our border collie dog while my husband who is a photographer captured the wildlife. After our walk we commented on how lovely everything was laid out with clear signs and different things to do for all ages of visitors. We used the toilet facilities which were very clean and then decided to have lunch in the cafe. On entering the cafe I asked a girl serving behind the counter if it was possible to have some clean water for our dog as the dishes provided outside were green. She abruptly said “water is outside “ and when I explained that the water was green she said “oh alright then” and stormed off. The water was changed and another girl served us with lovely service and seemed quite embarrassed by the others behaviour. I had a fruit scone and returned to the counter and asked politely if I could have it warmed, unfortunately it was the the same girl I had asked about the water and she stared me in the face, took the scone and returned it to me quite aggressively. Needless to say I was really taken aback and it actually spoiled our day. I am not a person who usually leaves reviews but I feel that it’s a shame that one person can leave a bad impression on such a...

I would love to give 5 stars for the park, as it’s lovely, well kept with great walks, unfortunately our experience was marred by the cleanliness of the cafe outdoor area and the car park experience, so 3 stars only.

We came early to walk our dog, pay machine is cash only for non NT members, so I downloaded app and paid that way, on the way back we popped in for a coffee and bacon bap as the cafe had just opened. Considering it had just opened, the outdoor sitting area was in a pretty poor state of cleanliness, something I would put up with in the middle of the day, but having just opened it was obvious they hadn’t cleaned up from the day before (see pic as example). This was then topped off by our experience when getting back to our car. Waiting for us was a NT staff member asking where our car park ticket was. I explained we had used the app and showed her the payment at which point she said we aren’t meant to do that and that and she would be blanking off the app payment details on the machines… really, how ridiculous, you want to remove the only means of paying when unmanned by credit card, does anyone really expect people to be walking around with £6.50 in cash in their pocket these days. It begs the question, is this Normal for Norfolk. P.S. just in case she really has blanked it off the app is PayByPhone and car park...

A little piece of heaven in Norfolk! The views are absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot for dog walkies, with three scenic routes to choose from 🐾 #norfolk #dogwalking
