An unspoilt, yet rugged area of coastline that is often very quiet due to the obscure beach access road and limited parking. Sitting between Overstrand and Mundesley it's often overlooked and you'll usually only find locals and those who are holidaying in the caravan parks above it on the cliff tops. Large swathes of unspoilt stretches of sand between old groynes and breakers offer people a great spot to enjoy the Norfolk coastline without the crowds. Please note there are no lifeguard stations and you can only truly walk towards Mundesley when the tide is out & not towards Overstrand due to erosion and it's remoteness. Your better taking the coastline footpath above for heading north.

A beautiful little section of beach, part of the much longer stretch of gold sand that reaches from Cromer to beyond Mundesley I like to wander up the beach access road (you can often find travel vans and paragliders on this road, stand around the beach, and get photos of the bright yellow gorse, beautiful blue sea, and the paragliders surfing the winds. It’s quite a nice and unique scene. (See photo below) You can walk from Trimingham to either Mundesley or Overstrand at low tide (and it’s a beautiful and lonely walk), but check the tide times. Between either directions, there is very little way off the beach once you’re on it.

Terrible beach really messy sand is wet and the sea cold not only that but the parking is extortionate!! OK OK I’m fibbing but sometimes it’s nice to have a secret beach away from everyone. Well off the beaten track but if you can find it definitely worth a visit.

This beach has always been a favourite but on this visit I was very disappointed. There must have been 30 different dogs which passes us having family time with children on the beach. The dogs were allowed to poo and urinate where our children were playing and although the majority of it was picked up the entire area smelled like faeces. It was really disappointing to see people allowing their dogs to wee in holes our children were making. I'm not sure we will...
