It's a small castle. Cannot be accessed or explored internally.
Burradon tower was originally a three-story tower house built around the 16th century. It was 7.5 meters high, with 1 room per floor. Built as a defensible house , typical of other tower houses built along the borders between England and Scotland. To protect against the usual regular border wars and skirmishes they took place. Occupied and resided in by wealthy aristocratic families.
