Bowthorpe Southern Park — Attraction in Norwich

Lovely little area within Bowthorpe.

Plenty of wildlife to see, including various birds, ducks, horses, and plenty of people walking their dogs.

This is a great place to have a picnic in the summer sunshine, with amazing views around you.

This is also an ideal place to take your dog for a walk. Unfortunately the only thing that's lacking is bins as there only seems to be 1 serving the entire park, which for somewhere of this size is a shame but then again you would hope people take their rubbish home with them so they don't ruin this...

A lovely little spot near the river, the marshes offer a relaxing spot for students and anyone interested in seeing wildlife near to the city. It would be nice to see some signage as dogs are apparently free to run around chasing the horses and wildfowl on the site, some of the gates are also a bit tight especially when you are wearing a back pack. Beautiful place to have a walk and would be lovely for dog walking. Dogs need to stay on leads though, as there are cows and horses roaming free. We didnt have to walk long to find the horses or cows, and we also got to see some swans.
