Interesting reconstructed dolmen you can go in. To access, head east on the south West coast path inland route off of the Portesham to Winterbourne Abbas road. On the right hand side (S) keep an eye out for a drop in the stone wall with a flat slab near a field boundary. Handrail up the fields edge for 125 m and you'll see the stones...

Apart from the stone, there is nothing much to see. It helps to know the history though. Not the best time to see it as it was foggy AF but will get you the steps you need. Go with some sort of navigation tool/app like Google maps (who doesn't have it these days?). We had the stone all to ourselves! Enjoy your journey...

Even though this is not the original arrangement of the stones it is a worthwhile visit. It still has some of the feel of an ancient place. It is just a short detour on the track from Portesham to Hardy's Monument. The are views to both. The stones are visible from Hardy's Monument if you know...

Apart from the stone, there is nothing much to see. It helps to know the history though. Not the best time to see it as it was foggy AF but will get you the steps you need. Go with some sort of navigation tool/app like Google maps (who doesn't have it these days?). We had the stone all to ourselves! Enjoy your journey because I have!

This is an ancient Monument, nothing "hellish, about it from what I can see. It's a short walk from the main path and an interesting construction.
