Just spent a fabulous afternoon at the Little Waddon Vineyard and enjoyed every minute, the tour was just enough to get a feel of the place and the ethos of the owners (very good and really care about the sustainability of the venture) the we were guided up to the courtyard area where we had fabulous breads, cheeses, chutney’s and oils to eat which complimented the win really well. The wine samples we were given were both really good quality, my wife & I both agreed that their 3 summers bubbly was the best of the samples given, we also bought an extra couple of glasses of wine, my wife had the pink bubbly which was a very similar taste to the 3 summers we had earlier and I had a sample of their Ruby Moon red which I can highly recommend, England isn’t particularly good at producing red wine due to the climate but the Ruby Moon is something to write home about, it’s a very drinkable red, plummy in the mouth and slips down really easily. This really is one of the most unbelievably wonderful places. A gem near the Jurasic Coast, a haven for amazing small batch natural English wine, and even somewhere to stay in a semi-remote and beautifully romantic wildlife friendly part of the South Coast.

My wife and I have been tasting with Simon and Karen, the most wonderfully generous and thoughtful hosts - we had a small (but quite large, delicious and well presented) cheese “nibbles” with them, post tour of the vinyard. The terrace is just a beautiful place to sit on any summers day.

We now cannot speak highly enough of them, their operation, their vinyard, accommodation and wines. Our particular favourites are the Three Summers sparkling, and the Willow white. So enjoyable, please keep producing these!!

We’ll be back for more, we adore this place and everything it stands for - a true sanctum of boutique quality mixed with amazing produce that rivals any of the finest...
