What a lovely walk. Plenty of friendly faces and doggos. Some really nice views, paths and fields out here to enjoy. A quiet peaceful place for everyone :)

Great open space, wonderful for walking alone or with your dogs. Can be very muddy after rain. Lots of wildlife and the river runs along side too.

Some idiot reversed into the front of my car and didn't have any decency to leave any details. It cost me nearly £900 to fix everything from a smashed bumper to a broken head, beam, and indicator light. They hit it with some force as its bent and damaged the metal frame underneath the car. Also, to top of the day, the place smelt like someone had died around the area, and there were a few white homeless people camping in different areas. I was speaking to one, a lad called Chris he was in the British forces for 5 years, and now he's down on his luck with mental health issues caused by 3 tours to iraq, something he now believes involved corrupt government members trying to get rich on oil and gold bullion. Why isn't anything being done for him? He saw a 7 year old girl used has bait she was blown upwards of 300 feet in the air from an IED. An Horrendous mental image, He's got to live with that thought for the rest...

The views of the Mersey are quite good if you like photography. Very exposed in the sunshine so can be a bit too intense if you like shade. The pathway around Paddington lock is shady + is full of Bluebells in spring. Worth a walk if you fancy a bit...

And the historic new cut canal (disused). Loads of wildlife including heron, buzzard, sparrow hawk, cormorant, rare duck species, grebe and the occaisional...
