Really have always loved this place! We've had many happy memories since it opened and very few people there too start. Lovely now it's expanded and great for business. The staff are really good too. However I don't understand why some parents do not watch there children or take note of how cruel they are being to other children! It's like play ground bullying and leaving children unattended is just not good enough. One little boy must of only been 1.5 and he was on the big indoor play area unattended and I can say he was this age as he was stumbling all over the place and babbling as a toodler would) twice today I had to ask people if these babies were there's and the parents were nowhere to be seen!
Today I witnessed a group of children climbing up the slides once again and I explained to them how dangerous it is (one was going down and skipping over to the next slide then the next) they continued to laugh at me and smirk as though it was really funny they may hurt my little one or any other children. In the end I had to go to staff members because I was so fed up of being polite and still seeing it happen. In the end one of the group of children who was told politely by a member of staff not to climb slides. Child one then burst in to dramatic tears saying that child one didn't do anything that it wasn't child one.
In my previous experience I've had to witness my child being hit on the back of the head by someone climbing up the slide he was going down and catapult over the top of my little one and then crashed back down and landed on my littles ones head. (As I'm am trying to say to them stop stop! I also tried to stop my little one before he proceeded down the slide but boy just climbed up and didn't care) only then for my little one to have a trip to hospital. Granted this didn't happen at raglan farm park but I am just making awareness of how dangerous can be. Nobody wants harm to come to their child or any child so please in future parents and carers watch what your children are doing and following the rules (they are there for a reason and remember health and safety is key for businesses)
We then saw the group of children once again in between two bouncy castles climbing in between them then climbing up over the walls and jumping from the top of the bouncy castle. Which is once again very dangerous and if someone had broken their neck doing it. I'm sure it would be someone else's fault!
We will return on hopefully a quieter day and I cannot thank the staff enough for helping and being so polite again the food was lovely too and animal feeding and tractor ride was really great...
Read moreGood soft play for older children. We travelled 45 minutes thinking it was a farm park! Please update your farm to Soft Play Heaven!
Sadly my 2 year old wanted me and my husband to go on with her but strictly NO adults were allowed on the bouncy castles or soft play equipment, so she didn't go on much of the play equipment by herself. With saying that, it said CCTV in operation if adults were on the equipment!
Other farm parks we have been to youre allowed adults to go on with the children. I've never been to a farm park where you couldnt go on with them. Overall there is a lot of soft play in different areas for the children. Shame there were no balls in the shooting gun things.
Inside the barn was absolutely freezing! We ate our lunch with our coats on, it was much warmer outside but we couldn't sit down anywhere as it was extremely muddy.
Sadly there were not a lot of animals on our visit. Few donkeys, emus, goats, alpaca, and sheep. They didn't have a lot of space considering the size of the place! They are in the middle of the bouncy castles and soft play. It made me laugh when they said quiet as the lambs were with their mothers and the soft play and bouncy castles were near enough to the sheep aswell!
Shame with all the space, thought they would have a petting bit for rabbits guinea pigs etc if they had some. We stayed here for 2 hours. It's a shame as we wanted a nice family day out where we could spend the whole day.
Good range of bouncy castles and soft play but there is so much land outside but it just had play equipment and pedal tractors.
Overall I think the price we paid was expensive for what we felt was a soft play day out.
Sadly, we will not be returning.
There was no interaction with the animals which my toddler loves to be hands on with them. She wasn't really interested in the animals on this visit.
We paid £8 adult and £7 for the 2 year old who didn't go on much at all without one of us going on the play equipment and us telling her we aren't allowed on the soft play with her - absolutely...
Read moreVisited on a sunny but cold February Saturday. OK, so maybe not as many animals as you'd expect from a farm park but once the kids spotted the soft play areas and bouncy castles the animals were not a priority and more a hold up that mummy was trying to make them feed carrots to anyway, (they did stop and coo over the new lambs for a little while though). Plenty of parking which a member of staff was directing people to. Entry fee is pretty reasonable; once you're a family of 4 it become £5.50 a person and as you're paying for the kids to have the time of their lives it is worth every single penny. There as soft play areas for every age and confidence of child up to 10 years old, they vary in size and all have sufficient seating - mix of benches and leather sofas for parents to sit at whilst their little darlings run themselves out of every ounce of energy, there are also 4 indoor bouncy castles a trampoline and giant indoor sandpit. The buildings are farm buildings and whilst there are some heaters, if you're not lucky enough to be on the soft play then bring your big coat as it was a little chilly. There is a food stall which certainly did smell amazing and the menu looked fab but we didn't try on this occasion. There's also a hot drinks machine for £2 per drink. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Staff were constantly checking toilets, bins etc and it showed. Outside has go carts and little ride on tractors, swings, seesaws, zip wires and in the warmer months that's where the animals will be. There is also an awful lot of mud - it's a farm in the country side and it had rained. Wellies and puddlesuits on the kids and they were fine. There are plenty of picnic benches outside and the views are just lovely. There are astro turf paths outside so pushchairs can...
