We have visited Elan Valley many times, and there are plenty of walks around the beautiful Valley to keep you busy.
First stop is usually the visitor centre which has a cafe serving hot food and drinks if you haven't taken anything with you, and of course there are toilets too...and a gift shop too should you want to buy something to mark your visit.
The touch screen parking meters sometimes aren't operational, but you can still pay in the gift shop if they are playing up. Parking is only £3 for the whole day, or you can park up for free for one hour.

There is a lovely visitor centre and cafe onsite with a large kids play area out back. Parking is enough for the number of visitors, many of whom just do a quick stop off while passing through.
