Lovely, quieter beach… gets busy during weekends and holidays but otherwise pretty peaceful. Seals sometimes make for a nice surprise visit, a good amount of fossils can be found along the shore and for us aviation enthusiasts, the RAF often like flying around for training over the North Sea and also the coastguard helicopter can be a regular visitor.

I had a wonderful time here. It is a peaceful area to relax in. The nearby holiday park was great. The only thing missing is nearby stores as the closest one is 14 minutes away from here. 🏖️ The sand is soft, a lot of stones and rocks that you walk on, which is what I dislike about it. 🪨 Parking direct to beach is available. 🚗

Feels very remote. Currently being washed away, which is very sad, the road has completely been lost. You have to climb down the bank via a rope to get to the sea, so no easy access. Very quiet, as you would expect. It is possible to walk to Withernsea but definitely check on the tides, you can get trapped.

The beach is getting more difficult to access due the natural erosion of the surrounding cliffs, there are some erosion defences in place but they just serve to make access to the beach a little harder. Lovely beach, very popular with local holiday makers but swimming in the sea can be dangerous due to hidden underwater rocks and old...

From were I was on the cliffs, Tunstall Beach looked lovely. Though I quickly realised that I couldn't work out how to get down to it. Unfortunate really, as I would have greatly enjoyed a stroll on the beach. I noticed a lot of coastal erosion, so maybe any path down to it was long gone.

A lovely looking beach but with no obvious...
