If you are into less formal, wild gardens with numerous little paths and open ponds, you'll love it here. Plenty of seating in numerous cosy cute locations to look out over the ponds here. Absolutely buzzing with dragonflies and damselflies over the ponds when I visited in July. Never seen so many in one place. Activists galore for children in form of games and open space to run. There's seating areas for families and several in shaded locations.

Wish we'd taken a picnic as plenty of seating areas - open and covered. Pick your own paths and routes and just wonder off around the whole site. Full of humour, quirky sculptures, inspiration and lovely landscaped areas. Fab for little and big kids too. Boots and coats at the ready .. lets go and get some fresh air! Thank you...

Just enjoy the many woodland paths and lovely areas for the wildlife and the sort of experience of being 10 again on a proper rope swing hanging from a tree. Compost toilet is fine. Make sure you have proper footwear (not like me in flip flops), not a garden for those who have mobility issues and drinks are only available at weekends so...
