Went to see the World. It Anchored up at Arnish so the residents could visit the Isle of Lewis. Weather was warm and dry but overcast. Tenders took residents ashore. They had chosen to visit the Outer Hebrides. We have masses of culture and fantastic sight seeing on the island. Callanish Stones are a big draw as are the Black Houses. The Lewis Chessmen can be seen in the new museum in the refurbished castle. Hopefully they have an enjoyable visit.

Jeg gikk den vakre turen fra Stornoway ut til Arnish Point Lighthouse og tilbake. Stien byr på nydelig utsikt over havet, Hebridene og det dramatiske kystlandskapet. Fyret ligger idyllisk til ytterst på neset, og turen var en perfekt kombinasjon av natur, ro og historie.
