We were the only visitors at the time and a staff member kindly came to open up and gave us a quick tour. The cottage has a nice sense of history, but the village itself is very quiet with little else around. Unless you’re particularly interested in Robert Burns, it’s probably not worth a special trip.

Off the beaten track. A small gem to enjoy, especially if you are a Burns aficionado. Only the single, upstairs room is of true interest. The lady on duty was brilliant. Attentive and knowledgeable. Recommended.
