Balbirnie Park — Attraction in Scotland

Absolutely fantastic place for walking. The woodland paths are well maintained. Some are steep in areas so not all are ideal for those with poor mobility, wheelchairs, prams, etc The river is clean and there are plenty bins throughout. We couldn't get a coffee at Balbirnie House on the Friday or Saturday as they were too busy with weddings but the Golf Club does a sit in and take away menu. Beautiful woods with well-marked routes, popular with locals with dogs. Balbirnie stone circle reconstruction is in this park. Along the route of the Fife Pilgrim Trail. Nearby Markinch has a few pubs and lovely coffeeshop for refreshments....

Great place to bring the dogs for a walk, peaceful, scenic and safe. Only thing to bear in mind is that some parts are on or near the golf course so to put the dogs on the lead...
