Could do with a few more directional signs & some better footing as the track is very muddy and slippery - I'm not sure we were actually on the right track but there were no signs beyond the initial ones leaving the car park and it looked like the most obvious route. Having said that it was a super spot, very quiet, we were the only people there and the views were awesome. The history of the hillfort was very interesting and we managed to climb a hill and look down on the fort area (think we missed right path to take us onto it. Will definitely go back when there's less mud and explore more

There isn’t a lot to see of the actual site. Banks of earth around the hill. Good view on a clear day all along the Firth of Forth. The path from the car park is 200m if worn path through trees then a field before a style is reached to get into the site. There is parking for 3 cars in the entrance to a farm, which is signposted from the minor road.

Has a very small carpark. The hillfort sits close to private property so there are strict signs to follow. Not wheelchair accessible. Other than the slightly negative points there is a descriptive panel which show what the fort must have looked like. Great views.

Clearly signposted off the Longniddry-Drem road and a neat dedicated little carpark (tarmac, not mud as at so many monuments). Then a pleasant signposted path to the fort 100m away. For a hill covered in mounds and ditches it's surprisingly atmospheric to think of the people who sat and looked at this view when Jesus was a lad. Clean, litter-free, dog-poo-free, grassy slopes with harebells, butterflies and an awesome view make this a lovely place on...

Interesting historical monument, with story boards, to pre Roman inhabitants of the British Isles. Not wheelchair friendly and difficult terrain for people with mobility issues. Lovely views of the East Lothian coast from the summit of the earth mound. There may be cattle in the surrounding field when trying to reach the monument, so caution is advised for visitors and...
