This place is incredible! You must come here to see "Eye of Lewis", which is a natural arch. There is parking and a huge play area for kids. There is also a place that shows a map of the area with sites to walk and see. We took the short walk to the beach and it was quiet and beautiful! It is well-maintained. I wish we would have had extra time to walk about to see the cairns and different stones. Note that there are no toilets close or places to fill water bottles, so go prepared. It was also very windy and we all appreciated having our jackets.

Stunning sandy beach, there is a path to the beach which is a short walk from the car park and to the right side of the dunes along the grass. The car park is next to a really good playpark, there are areas for both younger children and older. There is a toilet and a basic kiosk open until 4pm. We visited in July and the car park was busy so we went up to see the light house and came back and there were spaces.

After a windy visit to the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis it's a five minute trip to the beautiful Eoropie beach and dunes. Just the two of us there for over an hour, beautiful, sunny and the sound of the waves. Perfect holiday feeling. Then for an energetic way back to the carpark we climbed the dunes and enjoyed views both out to sea and inland across the fields and crofts.

Great long sandy beach with lovely views. Sand dunes are fun for the kids to play in. Quite refreshing in February, so wrap up! Very clean, and we joined in collecting plastic drifted debris and collating this away from the beach at the end of the beach path.

Beach is accessible from the playpark at one side and also via the track to the Ness cemetery at the other, which creates about a 5km loop to walk or run, with the rest on fairly...
