A great hidden place in history. It is good that the scaffolding has been removed, but sadly the place is still unsafe and therefore fencing panels are still up surrounding the site. Also the growth of shrubs, grasses and other flora and fauna makes getting close a bit of a hazard if not wearing the right footwear. You can get onto the shore of the Forth.

Originally one of many of the Stein distilleries in Scotland and Ireland. Unfortunately now in ruins but good to see Historic Scotland are taking some interest in securing the site. Of international importance to the Whisky industry.

Great, interesting place to visit, just a shame it's blocked off (obviously for safety reasons). Hopefully will receive investment for upkeep/development and be more promoted as place of interest to visit.

A derelict former distillery down a private road with no parking the building is fenced off, I didn't feel I could access it so I left having not even left the car there are good pictures of it and it's historical information boards posted by other kind Google reviewers, so really not worth the...
