This is a vast beach. From the carpark you will need to cross a burn (small river) bare feet or wellies required. There is around 1km of beach, it gets deep quite quickly, so great for swimming. There are sheltered areas, so even if it's windy, there is always a less wavy area (good for chilled stand up paddle boarding) As you can see from my photos it can get crowded 🤣, loads of furry sunbathers enjoy the beach too, I feel it's just adds to the charm of the place. Well worth a visit.

The stars at night are amazing. My phone camera just not up to the task. Working so did not bring my DSLR and tripod. Food from the Pantry next to dock was great and staff very friendly. I had a Beetroot burger and it was great. Not sure what this has done to my pics but uploaded on google maps anyway.

Such a gorgeous beach! My friends and I had a lovely stroll along it. The access is quite steep with a small estuary to cross to get onto the beach. People were swimming when we visited on a sunny Ceòl Cholasa weekend in September.
