This is a vast beach. From the carpark you will need to cross a burn (small river) bare feet or wellies required. There is around 1km of beach, it gets deep quite quickly, so great for swimming. There are sheltered areas, so even if it's windy, there is always a less wavy area (good for chilled stand up paddle boarding) As you can see from my photos it can get crowded 🤣, loads of furry sunbathers enjoy the beach too, I feel it's just adds to the charm of the place.
