We attended the tour of the property conducted by Historic Scotland. Lots of interesting details of the estate, the owners and related history were covered. Sad to see the results following the reclamation of materials from the roof and floors in the Duchess Ann extension. Also reclaimed, all internal timber panelling in the earlier building, yet the removal exposed earlier decor, shows scenes of the Good Samaritan story.
