Came here camping with 12 kids from my church. They had a fantastic time here, for most of them, this was their first time camping. We had pitch number 1, right in front of the loch, so we had a great view of it. We had also prepaid for wood, which was there with a fire pit when we arrived. The only I had was when pitching up our tent on the provided area, it was difficult to get the pins to really stay in the ground, as they used sand as a base. It was only stable when we added our bags and stuff...
   Read moreMy favourite camping spot... the loch is nice and shallow if your at location L... so kids safe to splash around... it's ok to have a fire... if you use common sense... nearby toilets... and after 4 o'clock the gates to the drive are licked and only people camping will be in the area... the rangers do a fantastic job to look after the place and you when you visit... great for wildlife... fishing. swimming...
   Read moreFantastic spot for the paddle board. Got parked in a layby closed to a decent spot on the beach. There's a few laybys that will lead you down to the beach just be prepared for a small climb and wear decent boots.
