A fabulous walk up to Ossian's Cave at The Hermitage. Park at the Hermitage (£3 for non members of National Trust Scotland) and take the walk along the river Braan to Bracklinn Falls - these are amazing. If you need no step access you can take the path on the right up - it's slightly steeper but the other way will not allow you to access the falls or up to Ossian's Cave as there are rocky steps. A beautiful walk!

It's likely the cave was built before Ossian's Hall but remains uncertain as there were no visitors until 1776.A rough man made cave further up the trail from the Hall
