Love the park and have been walking here for more years than I care to remember but very concerned about the following incidents. On Monday (16th September) I was returning to the car park and saw my very food orientated retriever eating something. On investigating it appeared to be a complete carry out meal of cottage pie which of course my friend put in bucket. Today (Thursday) while waiting for my friend in car park I noticed birds pecking at 2 objects which turned out to be frozen solid what looked like mince. These were in exactly same place as Monday’s deposit. Who and why is somebody dumping food in the park. Also, constantly finding loads of bread and dog treats around the park. With the recent scare at Callander park and Polmont woods I, and many dog owners, are concerned about the safety of their dogs. I know the safe answer is to keep dogs on leads but trying to find the culprits would be a far...

This is a nice place to visit with the family. One of the better country parks. Due to expansion of the car park, parking spaces are limited and I could not find any disabled parking spaces. The play park is easy to find, lying in the shadow of Plean House ruins and the play apparatus is varied, although some of it could do with some maintenence or replacing. There are a number of ruins and remnants of structures in the park which are fascinating to see. The park is well signposted. This park is big enough so that it is easy to keep distance from others. Not all paths are wheelchair and buggy friendly but there are plenty of accessible routes. This park is enjoyed by the whole family and definitely a place we will...

Great park for walking with dog and toddler. It has a car park and toilet block. Came here for autumn walk and we took a longer route (yellow). Got some muddy patches so definitely wear your wellies. The route is not signposted very well so have to depend on the phone/map but it is quite flat so all routes probably lead you back to the car park. We mainly followed the horse trail sign and came to the wildflower meadow and found the abandoned house and the play park. The play park is nice and small with lots of tables and bins around. Children seem to enjoy it. Overall a nice park for an easy stroll to get some fresh air and...

We absolutely loved this park. We visited to take part in the Parkrun (which I would highly recommend anyone to try if you haven't already, everyone is so friendly). We enjoyed playing in the park afterwards. There was the usual slide, roundabout and swings, but also a zip wire and a timber trail. The trail that Parkrun was on would make a lovely walk, there were some beautiful plants and trees to admire. The only thing that takes a star off is dog poo!! Only one pile spotted but right in the grass verge where the kids were playing!! Luckily it was narrowly avoided but we left shortly after that!

I live just down the road from here and I walk my dog here nearly daily but ever since they tried to fix whatever they've also destroyed the pathways that aren't always known to the public and doing so has really saddened the experience of walimg here daily. The paths are full of tire tacks and the piles of mud that fot brought up. There's rubbish from the precast and other companies that have worked around the area. It's disappointing to see such a beautiful place not been cared or looked after and only the places that the media sees gets attention.
