I recently visited this beautiful beach, and while it might not have endless stretches of golden sand, there’s still enough to build a sandcastle if you’re up for the challenge. The rocky shoreline is full of character, with cockles scattered about and little rock pools that invite you to explore. Sitting there, listening to the waves roll in and the distant calls of seagulls, I found myself completely at peace, just taking in the stunning scenery.

But the real magic? Being the first one there in the morning. There’s something special about having the beach all to yourself before the world wakes up—just you, the sea, and the crisp morning air. It brought back memories of childhood, those carefree days spent playing by the shore.

Practicality-wise, it’s a great spot to visit. There are nice, clean toilets nearby, and while parking is limited right by the beach, there’s more just a short walk away. If you fancy stretching your legs, there are also some lovely scenic walks along the coast, offering even more stunning views of the shoreline.

If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with nature, soak in the views, and enjoy the simple beauty of the coast, this beach is a...

Stunningly beautiful spot, especially on a beautiful day, visited Wednesday 17th July, early afternoon. This bay is lovely and sheltered, it was fairly busy, but not overcrowded. I found a vacant disabled spot right next to the beach, so parked up for a little explore. Sadly as it was a wheelchair day I couldn't get very far. Rough road surface, and no way to access the beach, plus the disabled spot is up a slope from the main beach. Barely noticeable on foot, it was too much for me in my manual chair. I think I'd have been able to access it in my powerchair though.

Still gave 5 stars, for the sheer beauty of the place, but accessibility needs...

Actually we should not spread the word and keep the secret about this little cosy beach... You can sit on sand, gravel, grassy podests, and wooden benches from the local community. All the freedom and peace you could imagine. Pratically you might want to coordonate two things: the tide and the icecream van. Both are not there alltimes... Icecream with great choices rembering the eighties and the nineties is available in the afternoon. Highwater: check the internet or ask the locals, they are very friendly and communicative! How to recognise them? Almost everybody is one, in a broader sense, as even visitors mostly have a longterm relation...
