Very difficult to park which reading these reviews I was aware of. Sadly as I have had a knee replacement and have some arthritis I could not attempt to walk up over the rocks and path and I was gutted ! I really wanted to be on that beach which appears to be very small. So I recommend if you have dodgy knees or arthritis you may struggle.

Despite other reviews, easy enough to get there using a path through the trees although not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Once there...beautiful! Spent a good couple of hours beachcombing for the best shells and chilling enjoying the fantastic view. Quite the most unique beach I've visited made entirely of shells. Stunning!

We stayed in Tarbert for a long weekend and visited this magical beach. It is gorgeous and all covered in scallop shells, a lovely walk from the village. Looking out across the loch, we even spotted dolphins and seals! 😍🦭

Stayed in Tarbert twice now (at the same place) and it's up the road next to shell beach. The 'beach' isn't really a beach as you'd know it, a little bit of off-road walking definitely not pram or disabled friendly/accessible. If you have beach shoes it's nice to walk around and you can safely enter the water as it's pretty shallow but if you are bare foot say goodbye to your skin. Parking is quite hard as there's only space for maybe 3 cars down the end we were lucky as we were literally a walk down the...
