Waters of Philorth Beach — Attraction in Scotland

Plenty of parking at this site with a number of picnic tables nearby. Good access via a walkway towards the dunes. Multiple tracks to get to the beach. Last few times I've been, I've been the only person on the beach. Dogs love running through the dunes and onto the beach. First time visiting here, the beach was beautiful, very quiet, a long sweep of clean sand, with dunes as a backdrop. Car parking and picnic tables near the car park. A little walk from the car park to the beach(make sure you take the direct path from the far end of the car park) the last bit to the beach is a bit steep, so people with mobility problems would struggle, there is a rope to help you pull you back up...

What a beautiful natural resource. A clear, winding river, habitat to warblers in a lush bed of reeds. Dunes full of sea grass that hide their birds. Easy path to the beach, easy parking, dog poo bins available. Please take your bags away! Gorgeous, flat, easy for children. No playground, why would you with all those dunes!
