Gorg place, was a Sunday when we went an it was fairly busy, the was car parkin places but that's the part that was busy! once your parked the beach is a min walk away with a nice coffee a doughnut hut on the corner an some toilets. We seen lil boats bein tugged in from sea by tractor an horse boxes with horses in people bringin them to enjoy the sand an sea. The dunes provide protection for wind on the windier days for you to set up camp for the day an sit an relax the was also an ice creme truck. The sea was in when we went an was on its way out, we found lots of mermaid purses beautiful shells an seaweed while playing on the shore line as it was goin out all the little pools that was left were fun to do some exploring. The beach was pretty much immaculate, no sewage slurry like further down in southport, no rubbish either

Really, I love my local beach. Sadly, however, not everyone else who visits does. The amount of dropped rubbish is unfortunately ruining the area. The staff and volunteers do an amazing job cleaning up each day, but they shouldn't have to. Honestly, I was heartbroken today to see a large group of young Asian men hurling glass bottles into the Natterjack enclosure. It took us nearly an hour to pick up the broken glass after they walked off.

Great to have the open beach and sand hills to blow the cobwebs away! Pity Sefton Council spent their money on Tiad Hall paint job rather than providing toilet facilities!

Took ages to get onto the beach as it was very busy. Only to be expected on a sunny bank holiday. £5 per car to park on the beach. There is a sign as you enter saying no bbqs allowed yet no one enforces this. We saw loads and the smell was overpowering. Obviously very dangerous on a very crowded beach. All the bins were overflowing with several bags of rubbish being left around them. Lots of rubbish also left on the beach. The toilets were an absolute disgrace! Even my children commented on the state of them! No toilet paper in the cubicles. Dirty nappies and sanitary protection on the floors of the toilets. One toilet was full to the brim. No soap at the wash basins. The floor as you walk in was full of sand and water from 2 of the cubicles. You would think at £5 per car the council would have staff to empty bins and clean the toilets regularly. I have visited this beach many times over the years but each time I have been recently it has gone more and more downhill. I don't think I will be taking my children there again and I am also going to contact the council...
