Fantastic once I got there. I made the mistake of getting onto the downs at Otford. Very steep incline (not for the faint hearted) and not a lot to see until you get to Kemsing on the North Downs Trail. I would suggest getting the bus to Landsway in Kemsing the good bits are just a short walk up the hill from there. Spectacular field of Oxeye Daisies which on closer inspection is also full of Pyramidal Orchids. Further up past the field on the left I found Bee Orchids, finally atop the Downs amazing views and dozens of Marbled white Butterflies and a few Clouded Yellows.

Lovely walk through nature.. especially in March. You may catch a landscape full of bluebells. Very quiet area As well.. not many people out walking

I am lucky enough to live in Kemsing have done all of my life and I never tire of disappearing up "the hills" for a stroll. So much beauty on my doorstep and the peace and quiet is great to experience. People who you may meet are always so happy to stop for a chat....
