Sledmere Estate — Attraction in Sledmere

Have been to Sledmere House many times over the years and the experience has always been good. However after a visit it was always a welcome treat to dine in the cafe, however since the newly renovated eatery has taken place I sadly rate this establishment poorly, The cooked food presented was awful i saw a young family eating a toastie and having eaten a little as it was overcooked and swimming in grease, Similarly all cooked food was nigh on burnt. Havnt visited for a while. Unfortunately looks like the place is going through Changes. Went for the Christmas experience and buy decorations. The wonderful barn that had trees and lovely decorations is now crammed into the woodland shop not a lot of choice. I understand it's now closing Mondays...
