Have been to Sledmere House many times over the years and the experience has always been good. However after a visit it was always a welcome treat to dine in the cafe, however since the newly renovated eatery has taken place I sadly rate this establishment poorly, The cooked food presented was awful i saw a young family eating a toastie and having eaten a little as it was overcooked and swimming in grease, Similarly all cooked food was nigh on burnt.
