My wife and I went here specifically to visit the Walkers Hut Tea Barn, which we must say was really nice! All food and drink is sold on an 'honesty box' policy ,which in this day and age is such a nice touch. We each had a cream tea , which was delicious ..the scones provided were gorgeous! ..The spot was tranquil and would lead to several walks around the area . The history of the local WWll airfield is fascinating.The N.T. ,as always, providing good informative graphic signage explaining its use during and after the war .
