This is one of the more pricier farms I've been to however it is more than worth the price. We went with 3 adults and 2 children (aged 3 and 11) and we ALL thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is sooo much to do, I would advise getting there early to make the most of it! I won't give to much away because I don't want to spoil it for anyone planning on visiting but some highlights for us were bottle feeding the baby goats, piggy races and grooming the ponies - all of which are included in the entrance price! Some other fab things included are a mini train ride (adults are allowed on with smaller children/babies), tractor ride and the animals handling area 😍 we absolutely loved this area and got to hold mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, baby goats and piglets! - it's not 100% necessary but it's preferable that you purchase a mini blanket for handling the animals from the gift shop (£3 each)... One of the bunny's nibbled a few holes in the blanket 😂 ...at least it saved our clothes 🙌🏼👌🏼 It is a huge farm, there is free mini crazy golf, a lookout tower, a field you can get up and close with Shetland ponies, a inside area with inflatable slides, food area with lots of picnic bench type seating and lots more. You can buy animal feed from the front entrance or gift shop, and there is a couple of rides - like motorised ride ons that cost £1 a go, so a bag of £1 coins would be helpful if your children will want to go on those. The majority of things are included in the price though so don't panic if you don't have change because there is plenty to do! Next time we will probably take a picnic because it was quite expensive for food and drinks on site. It cost nearly £15 for 2 cans of drink, a cheese sandwich and a Cornish pasty. All were lovely but if you want to save some pennies then bring your own food and drinks 👍🏼 the gift shop was actually really reasonably priced which surprised me in comparison to other similar places. There is plenty of parking, the spots nearer the entrance are concrete based and the back flow car park is more field/gravel. All staff were super friendly and more than happy to stand for a chat when we asked for more information about the animals etc. We truly had such a brilliant day, I've already recommended it to many friends and I can't wait to go back in the near future 🙌🏼

I recently had the opportunity to visit Pennywell Farm with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. The farm is filled with a variety of activities and attractions that are sure to delight children and adults alike. From the petting zoo the playground to the miniature railway, there was something for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights of the visit was the farm animal experience, where we got the chance to meet and feed the farm animals. My kids were thrilled to get up close and personal with the animals, and it was a great opportunity for them to learn more about different types of farm animals. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they were always on hand to answer any questions we had. They seemed genuinely passionate about the farm and the animals in their care, which added to the overall experience. The only downside was that the food and drinks were quite expensive, but considering all the other fun things we did, it didn't diminish the overall experience. All in all, we had a great day out at Pennywell Farm and we will definitely be going back again. I would highly recommend Pennywell Farm to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly day out. If you are looking for a place to spend a day with your family, this is it. The only thing to consider is food and drinks are more expensive than other options

We had a great day and made use of the 7 day free return a few days later. We managed to fill both days, but we felt like they needed another ride for all ages, maybe even something that adults can go on. Our kids loved cuddling the animals, watching the pig racing and feeding the baby goats. They also loved the new park, the bouncy castles and the assault course. We did the tractor ride on both visits, but we felt that the second time spent too long down at the farm, causing there to be a large wait in the queue at the top. They also squeezed too many of us on and lots of people had to put quite large children on their laps, which wasn't comfortable or particularly easy, as it rocks around quite a bit. We took our own food, but we did have a pizza on the second visit, which was reasonably priced, but the drinks were all really expensive. The service was also incredibly slow. The staff were all really friendly and helpful though and one woman went out of her way to show us the hedgehogs, as we missed the hedgehog meet and greet. Another gentleman greeted us on entrance and a woman on the Rainbow Train was really enthusiastic. We hope to come again next year.

This farm is incredible just wow I’m from Surrey and yes we do have few lovely farms here however Pennywell takes the crown it’s the best one I’ve been to my family and I loved it. I understand why it has won several awards now. There is so much stuff to do almost a new thing every 30 minutes I was overwhelmed as we only had half day tickets 9am to 1pm session. The tickets was £45 for family of 4. Our highlight was the animal encounter my daughters loved cuddling the animals such as rabbits , chicks etc ps bring a blanket or your own towel otherwise you can pay £3.50 for small blanket in the shop. Another highlight was bottle feeding the baby goats. Another favourite was the crazy mini golf and There was soft play for the kids and also little rides they can do. Tractor rides as well. All included in the price. The views from the farm of the Devon countryside is gorgeous. The staff were all friendly and welcoming to the families. We even saw the farm owner he was very hands on welcoming guests and asking us about what we think of the farm. Only negative - We wish we could stay all day rather than 4 hours sessions ; ) Thank you we shall return in future.

We visited on a day trip from Bude, so a bit of a drive but the farm is gorgeous, welcoming and full of things to do! My 2 year old and 6 year old were kept amused for hours. I found some aspects slightly overwhelming, I mean it was busy but the info boards had very small unclear writing on which i had to ask about, the staff were lovely, bright and clearly love being there. We didn't do the pumpkin trail as My two weren't overly interested in doing so, but there were plenty of things to do be doing. Also regret not holding the pigs but again information on this was limited to certain areas and again it was busy. We brushed the ponies after seeing the "we love to be brushed" sign and I got bitten, first 5 mins there 🤣 watch out for the little brown pony by the arena. Slightly pricier then maybe some other places we visit, but was a lovely day out, thoroughly enjoyed by all 4 of us. Edited to add... we bought deer food but couldn't reach the deers, they were in a pen with a second fence, so you couldn't get anywhere near them. Slightly confused by this, but the goats loved it none the less! 🤣
