Great place for a dog walk. Quiet and tranquil, only the bird noises which are many. Seen many Muntjac deer, squirrels which my dog delights in chasing. There is a hosepipe at the Ranger’s shack, back entrance, which he allows dogs to have a drink from. The car park is a fair size, under the trees. There are no toilets here. Free to enter. Highly recommended for an afternoon’s walk.

I went here for UKTEK 2025 the wait getting into the free party took awhile. I'd suggest more room and parking places so raves have a comfortable experience entering into the party. Overall the Party was sick however when I first entered the party it seemed quite disappointing but it gotten better throughout the day. As per usual I took some sick photos there

Took our miniature Dachshunds for an early morning walk. The dogs like loved it! Loads of different routes to choose from, very clean and it's perfect for dog training. It wasn't very busy when we went but it was really good for socialising when we came across other dogs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet walk. 🐶

Love this place. My only gripe is that dog walkers either leave poo where dog does it, or bag it up. But then when you get to carpark there it is, bag of dog doos just left there. They spend the time to pick it up but then leave plastic bags for wild animals to harm them. All they have to do is use a stick, flick it into undergrowth and let mother nature work her magic on it. Benefits the creepy crawlies and decomposes so is a winner all round. So apart from poo it's all good. But NO...

Great place to walk the dog, or just walk without a dog. You can cycle, jog, whatever you fancy. Parking is free and plentiful, a little way down a dirt track when you first turn in from the road. Be warned that there are no toilets and some of the routes take a slight but steady incline. The main footpaths are wide but rough and uneven and there are plenty of mud tracks going off in all sorts of directions if you...
