I love it here. If you choice the right time it'll often be empty late afternoons. There's so many different routes. Although I love the woods, I really don't understand why dog owners can't pick up their dogs poop. There's sufficient dog poo bins yet at the start of the walk, there's always piles of poop to avoid. That's my only negative really as on the whole it's a wonderful place, you'll see deer & rabbits if you're lucky. It's great for solo walks or family walks and safe for kids & adults to cycle or adults who like to jog or ramblers. Plenty of parking, and really nice since the entrance has been filled in as there were so many large & deep potholes a few months ago. It can flood badly in bad weather so don't visit after heavy rain if you have a little car as it'll be impossible to reach the entrance as Nightingale lane turns into a small river. There's nature trails for everyone's ability, wooden play/exercise equipment dotted around.
