One of my favourite places to visit whenever I am in South Shields. Hidden little gem. Love the rugged coastline. Nice little beach with the stunning Marsden Rock. The Grotto is worth popping in for if you want a drink. Cannot comment on food as it’s been a few years since...

Lovely beach, on a quiet night. Beach combing at its best even on a cool evening. Free parking after 7pm, then down some fairly steep steps to the shore. Very enjoyable. Some erosion of the cliff edges due to recent rain, so say clear from...
